LFYC 2023 starts

sat, 28 oct - sun, 29 oct, 2023

arrival, football time and departure

All teams, except local clubs, should arrive in Lisbon no later than Friday, October 27, 2023.

The organisation will coordinate and make all travel arrangements for foreign teams arriving by air at the Lisbon International Airport. Teams arriving by bus or train should make their way to the accommodation site on Friday and will be assisted on arrival by its own Team Liaison Officer for the whole period of stay. On match days (October 28, 29) shuttle buses will be available to take teams to and from the tournament venue.

First round & preliminary matches start Saturday morning. All finals will be played Sunday.

The tournament organization reserves the right (if needed) to make adjustments to the tournament format to guarantee that every team plays the same number of football matches.

Monday, October 30, all visiting teams will return to their point of origin, departing from Lisbon International Airport.

Food & Beverage

The Lisbon Football Youth Cup organisation will provide all participants with food and drinks at the accommodation sites. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style and dinner is always a warm meal.

Festival & Entertainment

We emphasise the friendly get together between youngsters of different nationalities and cultures. On Sunday after the final there will be a trophies and awards ceremony and live music for everyone. One of our goals at the Lisbon Football Youth Cup is that coaches have time and opportunities for a good football chat across borders.

Local Clubs

We welcome all local football clubs  to enter and to be part of this fantastic football party. This will be a great chance for all local football clubs to benefit from playing against international opponents and also to make new friends!
